Scrapbooking, Coasters, & History Book

I have been so busy doing so many things that I sometimes forget to post the fun crafts I do. Here are some pictures of some of the fun things I’ve made lately.

I usually do all of my scrapbooking on Shutterfly. But I decided to make something super cute for my mother in law for mothers day. I made this at scrapbook weekend. I just love the way it turned out. IMG_2820 IMG_2821 IMG_2823 IMG_2824 IMG_2825 IMG_2826

Next thing I love to make is coasters… Here are some coasters I made for my mom for mothers day.

I have to say this is by far my favorite thing that I have made lately. 7 or 8 months ago I started making this wonderful history book for my Grandparents. After a long 6 months or so I finally got it finished. I am super happy with the way it turned out. When I presented it to them they had to hold back their tears. It was such a wonderful experience to give back to two people who have given me so much through the years. My Grandma and Grandpa Hawkins are basically my second parents and I spent a lot of time at their house growing up because my Mom worked. So I would go hang out their while my parents were at work. The History Book was a lot of work but it was all worth it in the end. They have taught me so much and I hope that future generations of their posterity can learn the amazing things from them that I have. I just love them so much and can’t help but brag that I have such amazing Grandparents.

Crafting, Crafting, Crafting!

Crafting has been a huge part of my life this year. It’s something that I have loved doing. Its actually becoming an outlet for me. Singing has always been a huge outlet for me but crafting is slowly becoming another one.Like singing, crafting is something I crave to do. A lot! Especially this year more then I ever have!

I love making crafts for our apartment. And with Christmas just around the corner, I was getting in the mood to craft again. Its been a while since I crafted. Probably 2 or 3 months. And I really wanted to make this Grinch wood craft for Christmas that I saw at the wood connection. Here are some of my fun crafts I’ve done this year including the Grinch one I did. Its my favorite! Enjoy!

This is the very first craft I made. It was so much fun. And I loved the way it turned out. It has sat on my entertainment center since I made it!

This was also a way fun craft. I wanted to put it on my entertainment center but it didn’t fit… So I had to put it on our desk in the office.

This is my birthday flip book. It has all of my families pictures and birthdays. Its so fun and helps me remember birthdays!

These are coasters I made. They were so easy and probably the cheapest craft I have ever done! Love them!

This was a scrapbook I made on Shutterfly for Bryson for our anniversary. I couldn’t wait to give it to him so I gave it to him early this year.

This board my mom originally made for me. It had my name on it. When I got married and moved out I decided I wanted to re do it. So i repainted it and made it our own. So fun. I made Bottle Cap Magnets for it. They are the best!

This is by far my favorite. I love the movie How The Grinch Stole Christmas (the one with Jim Carrey) and have since it came it in theaters. I have faithfully watched it every year. Such a classic. So I knew when I saw this craft that I had to get it and make it! I just love the way it turned out!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Take care!
